As
a personal
tribute, I would like to share that I had always loved writing, but had
ceased
doing so for many years. I went to see Master & Commander and was
so taken
with the performance of Russell Crowe that I purchased the first of the
series
of novels by Patrick O'Brian. The result was that I not only read the
entire
series, but was inspired to pick up my pen and paper and write again. I
will
always be thankful to Russell and to Patrick for inspiring me to do so.
My
first attempt at writing again was what became known as 'The Jackson
Saga', a
trilogy of sorts which features two characters inspired by Russell. The
first
set of chapters were collectively called When a Woman Loves a
Man. I followed up with Waiting for a Rainbow, and
then In Search of Happy Endings. These stories
were all actually written by hand first, the old fashioned
way, then I typed them into Word. I have broken them into the
sections as they were written and will post them over the course of
time. I hope you enjoy them. ------Pioneerwoman
